Specification:
Elite Airtight
To produce a surface on Blockwork that is airtight (reducing heating & cooling costs).
Preparation:
Brush down the surface to remove dust.
Remove all traces of efflorescence.
Fill any large holes and voids with universal fillers.
Mask and protect any wall fittings, floors etc to protect from overspray.
Application:
Mix Elite Airtight thoroughly prior to application.
Preferred application method: high volume airless spray with a spray tip size of 21 thou. and a fan size of 12 inches, followed by back rolling with a medium pile masonry roller to fill
perforations.
Apply Full-Coat to the substrate with airless spray. (see list of approved spray units)
Back Roll the Coating into the substrate with a medium pile masonry roller.
When the first coat is dry apply a 2nd lighter Coat by airless spray to ensure uniform coverage.
check the substrate for misses and apply touch up to areas as required.
Clean up:
Clean spray equipment immediately with warm water
Remove any overspray or small spillages with warm water.
Remove all masking and protection from site to leave area ready for
re-occupation.
Notes:
Elite Airtight can only be applied onto dry substrates:
Do not apply second coat and subsequent coats until the previous coat is completely dry, this can lead to the coating delaminating.
Ensure coating is applied over the complete surface.
Where possible, apply Elite Airtight prior to the installation of suspended ceilings, skirting’s and wall fixings.
Always back roll to fill perforations.
Always stir the product thoroughly prior to application.
Do not thin the product prior to application.
Do not apply if the surface temperature is below 8ºC
Alternative application methods:
Standard brush and rolling techniques can be used as an alternative to spraying, however due to the high solid content of the base-coat more materials will be used, the project will take
longer to complete and the application will be more labour-intensive.
Drying times:
Touch dry: 2 Hours @ 18ºC
Re-coat: 6 Hours @ 18ºC

Specification:
Airstop Pro-Parge
To produce a surface on Blockwork that is airtight (reducing heating & cooling costs). Ideal for use behind drylining and also in voids above suspended ceilings. Specifically for use on damp
substrates.
Preparation of substrate:
Brush down the surface to remove dust.
Fill any large holes and voids with universal fillers.
Mask and protect any wall fittings, floors etc to protect from overspray.
Mist coat the substrate to be sprayed with water and leave to absorb into substrate.
Preparation of materials:
Airstop Pro-Parge arrives in powder form and is packaged in 10kg bags. Mix 10kg Airstop
Pro-Parge powder with 6 litres of clean water. Use machanical mixer to mix materials. Once mixed, the materials must be used within 10 hours.
Application by Roller Or Brush:
Airstop Pro-Parge as an airtight finish on bare block walls:
mist-coat substrate with water prior to spray application.
Apply 1st coat of Airstop Pro-Parge to entire surface working the coating into all the perforations.
When 1st coat is dry apply a second coat of Airstop Pro-Parge to the entire surface to ensure uniformity.
Spot roll or fill any remaining perforations, prior to starting cleanup works.
Clean up:
Clean equipment immediately with warm water
Remove any roller splashes or small spillages with warm water.
Remove all masking and protection from site to leave area ready for
re-occupation.
Notes:
Do not apply second coat and subsequent coats until the previous coat is completely dry, this can lead to the coating delaminating.
Ensure coating is applied over the complete surface.
Where possible, apply Airstop Pro-Parge prior to the installation of suspended ceilings, skirting’s and wall fixings.
Always back roll fill perforations.
Always stir the product thoroughly prior to application.
Do not apply if the surface temperature is below 5ºC
Not suitable for spray application:
Standard brush and rolling techniques are recommended. Due to the fast drying nature of the coating spray machines can become damaged if they are not cleaned through properly.
Drying times:
Touch dry: 6 Hours @ 18ºC
Recoat: 24 Hours @ 18ºC
